The woman in the picture below, is she turning clockwise or counter-clockwise? If you see her turning clockwise, it's an indication that you use more of the right side of your brain (creativity, imagination). If you see her turning counter-clockwise, you use more of the left side of your brain (logic, reasoning). See if you can focus and change the direction. Try it now.
l also wanted to note something interesting I recently read from the Body Language Handbook by Greg Hartley recommended by a good friend. Pop psychology often gives you general rules about body language--throw them out the window. Every person is unique and you've got to understand them as their natural self before even attempting to find hidden meanings. However, one worthy point is that when asked a question that is meant to jog the memory, most people will look to the left because the left indicates logic, reasoning and memory. If they look to the right, they are using the imaginative part of the brain, and may be an indication that something may be fictional--either intentionally or unintentionally--in their answer.
Keep in mind that this isn't a 100% go-to rule. Actually, a small percentage of people are wired completely opposite according to Hartley, but the majority of folks will be in the general category.
Note: as for the picture, don't try demanding that the person you show this to sees both directions just because you have the powerful ability.
