Painful Love and Love Nonetheless

So, if you get the chance to watch "Rachel Getting Married" with Anne Hathaway, watch it. The story is, in essence, about two sisters who struggle immensely with eachother and eventually find some mutual ground through love. One in particular, Anne Hathaway, is troubled in every sense of the word--as a rehab patient multiple times, she begins as a self-absorbed, lost little girl and grows to accept herself, her family, and all mistakes.

This reminded me so many times of how much it hurts to love somebody who often hurts themselves and others through actions irrational in the lover's eyes. We've got to understand that the only reason it pains us so much to love is because we love so much. Without that love, we'd be without care; and without care, what good are we?

I think, with all we live through and each person we adore, those moments when we look eachother in the eyes and say, "I love you no matter what. I love you and you know it. I love you and there's nothing you can do to change that"--in those moments of Godly strength and unwavering faith, we actually portray who we really are and what we're really supposed to be. Love surpasses all things, hopes all things, believes all things, lives all things. Love is pure and kind and all that we are in those great moments. It is all and everything that matters.

Goodnight love.
